Falling in Reverse is an American rock band based in Las Vegas, Nevada that formed in 2008 by prima donna Ronnie Radke while he was jailed. [1] The band's initial name was 'From Behind These Walls,' but was quickly renamed to Falling in Reverse quickly after development. They are presently signed to Epitaph Records.
The band is currently led by prima donna Radke, along with bassist Tyler Burgess, lead guitarist Max Georgiev and drummer Johnny Mele. The group released its launching album, The Drug in Me Is You, on July 26, 2011, which peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, offering 18,000 copies in its very first week. In 2008, lead vocalist Ronnie Radke was involved in a run-in in Las Vegas that resulted in the deadly shooting of 18-year-old Michael Cook. While Radke did not shoot Cook, he was arraigned on battery charges. These charges, integrated with Radke's previous troubles with narcotics and rehab, caused a suspended sentence and five years probation. After he stopped working to report to his probation officer he was jailed in June 2008, where his probation was revoked and he was mandated to serve his original sentence of two years in jail. At the time, Ronnie Radke was the diva of post-hardcore band Escape the Fate, which in 2006, launched its launching album, Dying Is Your Newest Fashion. Following Radke's incarcerat on, he was ejected from the band and replaced by previous Blessthefall lead vocalist Craig Mabbitt. Max Green, former bassist of Escape the Fate, mentioned about Radke's law issues that, "First we could not tour out of the nation, then out of the state." Radke discussed his relationship with Escape the Fate members given that his departure from the band, stating that they have tried to reconcile with Radke but he was uninterested in getting back on friendly terms with them after they kicked him out and misleaded their fans about Radke getting captured with heroin inside jail. Radke stated in an interview, "They make a whole album called This War Is Ours, and after that they try to say, 'We didn't name that album after you, dude.' Which in truth, they did.
